Materials
VS Rubber Products has a wide selection of rubber materials, such as cellular rubber, full rubber and technical foams. Almost all these materials are available in any size required by the customer. Our cellular rubber and technical foam materials are also available with a self-adhesive layer. We will be happy to advise you on the right material for your customised rubber product.
Our cellular rubber
Microcellular polyurethane rubber
Wear-resistant material used, among others, for buffers and ejectors for die-cutting knives. Suitable for long-term and frequent deep pressing. Highly compressible and damping. Even long-term loading and use do not change anything. Cellasto from BASF is a good example.
Silicone Rubber
Suitable for temperatures from -40℃ to 200℃. It is odourless and tasteless and available in black and white.
Polythene foam
Suitable for glazing and filling packaging and sealing tape. Available in various colours.
EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate)
Odourless and flavourless. Available in various colours. Regularly used for children's toys, bath slippers, packaging and the medical industry.
Chloroprene
Suitable for technical applications, weather-resistant, flame-resistant.
EPDM (Ethylene Propene diene Monomer )
Suitable for technical applications, weatherproof. Available in black, white or grey.
Nitril
Suitable for technical applications, oil, grease and water resistant. Moderately to moderately suitable for outdoor application.
Our technical foams
Sponge rubber on natural rubber base
Highly resilient. Wear-resistant. Highly resistant to varying loads. Water-resistant. Used e.g. in spherical form to clean pipes internally, for paper transport rollers. Cell size optionally fine, medium or coarse. Available in the colour orange.
Filter foam
Very open structure, all walls between cells removed by post-treatment. Used as an air filter in air treatment equipment. Available in 10 and 20 PPI (Pores Per Inch), among others. Colour: black
PVC foam
Slow recovery. Can be compressed in very large sizes and springs back slowly thanks to its very fine cell structure. Waterproof if more than 30% compressed. Very few signs of ageing.
Polyester foam
Highly compressible, low weight. Suitable as sealing tape for internal doors or air handling equipment. Also available with dust- and vapour-tight top layer.
Our solid rubber
SBR Rubber
Floor rubber with well-known anti-slip pattern. Available in various colours and patterns, such as studs, pyramid, broad and fine rib. Anti-static, oil-resistant or flame-extinguishing versions are also available on request.
Fluorine rubber
Resistant to acids, alkalis, petrol, chemicals, oil, solvent and ozone.
Silicone rubber
Resistant to weak acids and alkalis. Tasteless and odourless. Good ageing resistance. Available in colourless translucent variant and in white.
Polyurethane rubber
Highly abrasion- and impact-resistant. Resistant to petrol, oil and ozone.
Neoprene rubber
Resistant to ozone, frost, all non-oxidising acids. Reasonably resistant to oils and greases.
Acrylonitrile-Butadiene rubber
Resistant to oil, petrol, gases and non-oxidising acids
Natural rubber
Soft and highly elastic. Resistant to all non-oxidising acids.
Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Monomer
Cold- and weather-resistant. Especially suitable for outdoor applications.
Styrene butadiene rubber
For air and watertight gaskets. Not resistant to concentrated chemicals.
